Abbiamo appena inaugurato la rubrica CineCult per gli approfondimenti sul cinema di genere ed ecco una notizia gustosissima: il prossimo Fantafestival, che si terrà dal 5 al 9 dicembre 2018 al cinema Savoy di Roma, sarà aperto dal regista ’cannibale’ Ruggero Deodato!

Ruggero Deodato in persona infatti presenterà al pubblico Ballad in Blood, film che prende spunto dall’omicidio di Meredith Kercher, avvenuto a Perugia nel 2007. La proiezione è organizzata in collaborazione con l’associazione culturale Nel Blu Studios. Ruggero Deodato, al quale i due nuovi direttori artistici Marcello Rossi e Luca Ruocco affidano l’apertura del festival, presenterà anche Cannibal Holocaust 2, un volume illustrato edito da Edizioni NPE che raccoglie al suo interno il trattamento inedito del sequel mai girato del film cult di Monsieur Cannibal!

On December 5 at My Cityplex Savoy will kick off the thirty-eighth edition of Fantafestival with one of the most beloved directors by fans of the genre and his latest film, Ruggero Deodato!

Ruggero Deodato himself will present to the public Ballad in Blood, a movie inspired by the murder of Meredith Kercher, which took place in Perugia in 2007. The screening is organized in collaboration with Nel Blu Studios. Ruggero Deodato, to whom the two new artistic directors Marcello Rossi and Luca Ruocco entrust the opening of the festival, will also present Cannibal Holocaust 2, an illustrated volume published by Edizioni NPE that contains the unreleased treatment for the never-done sequel of the cult film by Monsieur Cannibal!
